Memory Layne Global Missions
A memorial to the life of Layne Widing
Memory Layne Global Missions was founded in 2023 in honor of Layne Widing, whose passing in 2002 inspired his family to celebrate his life through acts of service to those in need. What began as a heartfelt tribute to their beloved son has since grown into a powerful force for good, thanks to the outpouring of support from friends, family, and other generous organizations. Over the past two decades, Memory Layne Global Missions has expanded its reach both locally and globally, providing vital resources, assistance, and hope to countless individuals and communities around the world. This enduring legacy continues to reflect the love and compassion that motivated its inception, making a lasting impact in Layne’s memory.
What We Do:
Thousands of people worldwide lack access to essential medical and dental care. To address this urgent need, we are committed to building clinics in underserved areas. Our goal is to construct one clinic each year, starting in the South Pacific, to provide much-needed healthcare services to these communities. Through this initiative, we aim to improve the health and well-being of those who would otherwise go without care.
The Mission:
Millions of people around the world struggle to survive without access to basic necessities. Our mission is to alleviate this suffering by providing essential resources such as food and clean water to as many individuals as possible. We aim to construct medical clinics to offer much-needed healthcare and dental services, and we are committed to building and maintaining multidenominational churches and schools in communities that need them most. Through these efforts, we strive to improve the quality of life for those in need and bring hope to underserved populations.
"Let all you do be done in love."
1 Corinthians 16:14
He who
opens a School, Builds a Home, can Drill a Well
supports those in need!
Current Action Project
Providing food for the hungry through soup kitchens around the world is a key focus of our mission. While many of us take access to food for granted, countless people still lack the resources to meet this basic need. Everywhere we serve, we ensure the provision of food and clean water to those in need. Currently, we are in the process of establishing a soup kitchen in Belize to extend our reach and continue making a difference.
Outer Gear Alaska
We help children in Alaska and the northern Arctic villages who lack adequate cold-weather attire for subzero temperatures. We are supplying socks, boots, snow pants, gloves, hats, and coats to children in those villages. With each passing year, we hope to expand to other villages and Help those who are in dire need of warm gear.
Future Goals Include
We are working to expand our efforts both in the USA and globally, with plans to launch rapid response teams to address natural disasters, beginning here in the United States. When disaster strikes, many are left with nothing, struggling to rebuild their lives and memories without access to safe shelter or basic necessities. Our goal is to provide immediate support and relief to those affected, helping them recover and regain stability in the aftermath of devastation.
